Markstrom made 17 saves in Wednesday's 5-3 win over Chicago.
The Panthers grabbed a 3-0 lead on a Seth Jones tally midway through the second period, but the second half of the contest saw Markstrom barely hang onto the lead. The veteran netminder has made two straight starts to kick off November after missing the final five games of October with an upper-body injury, and on the season Markstrom has gone 4-2-1 in eight outings with a 2.57 GAA and .885 save percentage.
