Tkachuk (illness) won't play Saturday against the Sabres, Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network reports.

It's a tough blow for a Panthers team that'll also be without Aleksander Barkov (lower body). Tkachuk had two assists in Florida's first two games this season. He'll look to return Monday in a road matchup with the Bruins.
