Malkin put up two assists Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Toronto.

The points gave Malkin 1,300 in his career, tying him with Jarome Iginla for 36th on the all-time list. The 38-year-old Malkin accomplished the feat in 1,148 games. Despite his age, he still has plenty in the tank, and he should continue to move up the list this season. Guy Lafleur sits 29th with 1,353, and Brendan Shanahan is 28th with 1,354.
