Letang (finger) has been cleared for training camp, per Pittsburgh's training camp roster Tuesday.
Letang didn't let his finger injury stop him from playing in all 82 games last year in which he generated 10 goals and 41 assists. With the addition of Erik Karlsson, the 37-year-old Letang recorded a meager five power-play points, tied for his lowest total with the man advantage for his career with the exception of 2006-07 when he appeared in just seven contests. Assuming Pittsburgh's power play improves this season -- it would be hard-pressed to get worse -- Letang should inherently see his scoring productivity creep back up this year.
