Skinner stopped 22 of 23 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Red Wings.
Dylan Larkin was the lone scorer for Detroit in the contest, beating Skinner with a wrister on the power play in the second period. Skinner has alternated wins and losses over his last four starts, going 2-2-0 with a 2.99 GAA and an .881 save percentage in that stretch. Even though his record isn't impressive, this is a step in the right direction.
