Forsberg scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
The tally was Forsberg's first of the season, and that could ignite his scoring touch. He hadn't been slouching that much -- he had earned at least one assist in five of seven contests to start the year. The star winger has eight points, 24 shots on net, nine hits and a plus-5 rating through eight appearances while seeing time on the top line and first power-play unit.
