Lafreniere scored a goal Saturday in a 4-1 win over Toronto.
The goal extended his season-opening point streak to five games and six points (three goals, three assists). Lafreniere grabbed a rebound at the top of the crease, took a few quick steps across the slot and shot glove side past Anthony Stolarz. Lafreniere is proving that the growth in his game last season was no fluke. He's tied for third in team scoring with Adam Fox, behind Artemi Panarin (12) and Vincent Trocheck (7).
