Chiarot notched an assist, two hits, four blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Predators.
Chiarot has a helper, four hits and six blocks through two contests. His spot on the top pairing will help him pick up some ancillary offense when he gets minutes with the Red Wings' big names, and he even saw time on the second power-play unit Saturday. Chiarot's best season was a 26-point campaign split between Montreal and Florida in 2021-22, though he has reached the 20-point mark in four of the last six seasons while adding ample physical play.
