Shine scored three goals in AHL Grand Rapids' 5-2 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
Shine is off to a positive start this year with four goals and five assists over 10 games. He broke out last year with a career-high 21 tallies and added 18 assists in just 40 regular-season outings. That level of play also earned him some NHL time, where he had three goals in 18 games with the Red Wings. The 33-year-old winger is mostly just an AHL veteran, but he could see a call-up every now and then.
