Holl will be called up by the Red Wings ahead of Saturday's game against Nashville, Max Bultman of The Athletic reports.
Holl was sent to the minors ahead of the regular season, but he's slated rejoin the NHL club since Jeff Petry (upper body) will be unavailable. Petry is considered day-to-day, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Holl return to the AHL once Petry is medically cleared. It's unclear if Holl will see any playing time against the Predators.
