The Sabres demoted Tokarski to AHL Rochester on Friday.
Tokarski was recalled Thursday to give the Sabres an extra goaltender at practice. Tokarski is 7-7-2 with a 3.32 GAA and an .893 in 18 AHL appearances. He will back up Devon Levi at Rochester.
