Dunne was reassigned to AHL Rochester on Thursday.
The 26-year-old has played in one game at the NHL level this season, picking up a five-minute major for fighting, four hits and a shot on goal in 7:16 of action versus Florida on March 8. Dunne had eight goals, 16 assists and 44 PIM across 54 contests with Rochester before his recall.
