Dahlin (undisclosed) joined the Sabres on the ice Wednesday without wearing a non-contact jersey.
Dahlin missed Tuesday's preseason contest against Pittsburgh, but he seems to be making progress. Perhaps he'll be in action versus Red Bull Munchen on Friday, but of course, there's no reason for Buffalo to rush him during training camp, so it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up missing additional exhibition action.
