Gaudette was reassigned to AHL Belleville on Wednesday.
Gaudette scored two goals in Tuesday's 8-1 win over St. Louis and has provided four markers across his past three appearances with Ottawa. Perhaps this move is just a paper transaction. It wouldn't be surprising if the Senators recall Gaudette before Friday's game against the Rangers.
