Askarov stopped 28 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Ducks.

This was Askarov's second win in a row, though he has allowed seven goals on 57 shots in those games. He's up to 21-17-3 with a 3.52 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 43 appearances this season. Alex Nedeljkovic will likely get the nod Thursday versus the Maple Leafs, but Askarov should be back between the pipes Saturday against the Predators, which is a matchup that has massive implications on the wild-card race.
