Stransky received a one-year contract extension from the Stars on Saturday, reports General Fanager.

The 2011 sixth-round draft pick has spent the last three seasons playing for AHL Texas and has yet to make his NHL debut. Last season he scored 23 goals and 39 points in 74 games in the AHL. With the NHL club's forward depth, it's unlikely that he'll be a factor in fantasy next season.
