Motte was released from his NHL professional tryout agreement and signed an AHL tryout with Charlotte on Wednesday.
It doesn't look like Motte will be getting an NHL deal in the immediate future, but he'll continue to stay game-ready with the Panthers' minor-league affiliate. Motte scored in Charlotte's 4-1 win over Iowa on Saturday. At this time, fantasy managers don't need to track his performance in the AHL.
