Spurgeon (lower body) will play Tuesday versus Pittsburgh, according to Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Following a six-game absence, Spurgeon will return to his top-four role and could see time on the power play. The 34-year-old blueliner has one assist, two shots on goal, six blocked shots and four hits through two appearances this season. Spurgeon will replace Declan Chisholm in Tuesday's lineup.
