Middleton scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Ducks. Middleton opened the scoring at 7:31 of the first period. The 28-year-old defenseman had been held off the scoresheet in three straight contests following his five-game point streak. Middleton is at three goals, six helpers, 23 shots on net, 20 hits, 37 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 14 contests in a top-four role this season. He's put himself in an excellent position to surpass the career-high 25-point campaign he had in 2023-24.

Middleton provided an assist, two shots on goal, two hits and four blocked shots in Friday's 5-3 win over the Lightning. Middleton's improbably good start to the campaign continued when he set up Brock Faber's go-ahead goal in the third period. The helper gave Middleton a five-game point streak (one goal, six assists), which is the longest streak of his career. He's up to eight points, 15 shots on net, 15 hits, 31 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating over 10 contests. At this point, he's worth a look in standard fantasy formats, and he'll return solid value in formats that reward non-scoring production throughout the campaign.

Middleton scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Flyers. Middleton has earned five points over his last three games. The 28-year-old defenseman rarely chips in much offense, but he's doing well in a top-four role in 2024-25. Overall, he has two goals, four assists, 11 shots on net, 13 hits, 26 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating across eight appearances.

Middleton notched three assists while adding three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Panthers. The veteran blueliner made a big impact at both ends of the ice in his first multi-point performance since Jan. 18 of last season. Middleton has a goal and four points in six games so far in 2024-25, but his 22 blocked shots is fifth in the NHL, just three behind league leaders Chris Tanev and Brandon Carlo.

Middleton netted his first goal of the season in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss against Winnipeg. Middleton added two shots, three blocks, one hit, two takeaways and a plus-1 rating in 18:34 of ice time. The 28-year-old is on the top defense pair with Brock Faber and seeing time on the penalty kill. Middleton could be a solid depth option in deeper formats when factoring in his role, and he offers value in categories other than scoring. The left-shot blueliner signed a four-year contract extension with Minnesota in July.
