• Wild's Travis Boyd: Up from AHL

  The Wild recalled Boyd from AHL Iowa under emergency conditions Friday. Boyd has two goals and 11 points in 13 appearances with Iowa in 2024-25. He hasn't played for Minnesota yet, but the 31-year-old does have 47 goals and 118 points across 296 career NHL regular-season outings. Since he's with the team under emergency conditions, he won't be able to play unless a questionable forward is unable to suit up. If he draws into the lineup Saturday versus Calgary, it will likely be as a part of the bottom six.

• Wild's Travis Boyd: Returned to minors

  Boyd was reassigned to AHL Iowa on Monday. After being summoned from the minors, Boyd was a healthy scratch in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to Winnipeg. With Joel Eriksson Ek (nose) expected to return Tuesday versus the Blues, Boyd's presence on the roster is no longer necessary.

  Boyd was recalled from AHL Iowa on Sunday. Boyd registered one goal and one assist in Iowa's season opener against Manitoba on Saturday. He will be an option to play in Minnesota's contest against Winnipeg on Sunday after Joel Eriksson Ek (upper body) was injured in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to Seattle.

  Boyd was placed on waivers Monday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. Boyd notched two goals and six assists in 16 regular-season appearances with Arizona in 2023-24. He may begin the 2024-25 campaign with AHL Iowa if he isn't claimed off waivers by another team.

  Boyd (pectoral) has played in three games in Da Beauty League this summer, racking up one goal and three assists. Boyd's participation in the summer league, which features several NHL stars, should be a good indication that his pectoral injury is behind him. After logging just 16 games with the Coyotes last season, the Minnesota native signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Wild this offseason. If he can secure his place on the Opening Night roster, Boyd should be capable of getting back over the 30-point threshold, a mark he hit in each of his first two seasons in Arizona.
