Caitlyn Jenner introduced herself in public, and will appear on the cover of July's Vanity Fair magazine.
Jenner, formerly 1976 Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner, underwent 10-hour facial-feminization surgery in March and showed off his new face and hair in the magazine's photo shoot with Annie Leibovitz. She also made her debut on Twitter:
I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

Jenner appears on the cover in a white corseted bodysuit and told interviewer Buzz Bissinger that he will go by the name Caitlyn.
"If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,’ and I don’t want that to happen," Jenner explained.
The photoshoot for the cover was a better day for Jenner than his decathlon gold medal, he told Bissinger. Although he has had moments of doubts throughout the process. He said he had a panic attack after the facial surgery, asking, "What did I just do? What did I just do to myself?"
Jenner has not yet had genital surgery.
