Missouri sports betting preview

Saint Louis projects as a No. 10 seed, while Missouri is a No. 11 seed in the latest CBS bracketology projections for the NCAA Tournament. The Atlantic 10 Tournament and the SEC Tournament are both scheduled to get underway on Wednesday. Saint Louis will enter as the top seed, while Missouri is still in a battle for positioning. The regular season comes to an end on Saturday for both schools. 

Missouri has already clinched a 20-win season for the second-year in a row and is looking for its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Tigers have not made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances since 2011-12 and 2012-13 under coach Frank Haith. Under coach Dennis Gates, Mizzou has won 20 or more games for the third time in four years. Missouri had only won 20 games once in the previous eight years prior to that.

Saint Louis is in uncharted waters. Not since the 2019 season have the Billikens competed in the NCAA Tournament. It is the team's fifth 20-plus win season in eight seasons, but most since winning 27 games in 2013-14. That year, the Billikens reached the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
