We already know that rugby players are some of the toughest people in the world, little did we know they are so tough they resemble super heroes.
Or at least they did recently. For a weeked, five teams in the National Rugby League in Australia wore special uniforms in which they represented a different Marvel character. It's part of the ISCIMarvel Heroes round.
Represented were Wolverine (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles), Captain America (Sydney Roosters), Iron Man (St. George Illawarra Dragons), Thor (North Queensland Cowboys) and the Hulk (Canberra Raiders).
Here's some more background on the uniforms and the players wearing them.
Personally I think Wolverine wins for best jersey -- with Captain America a close second -- but that's probably just because he was my favorite of the X-Men. They are all pretty excellent, though.
If you are so inclined, you can get your own superhero rugby jersey, but it will cost ya.
