The FedEx Cup Fall is nearly halfway through, with the upcoming 2024 Shriners Children's Open representing the fourth of eight events before the calendar flips to a new regular season. Players such as Lucas Glover and Matt McCarty have already made their marks on this portion of the playing schedule as a different wave of talent is set to tee it up this week at TPC Summerlin.

For the first time since his memorable Presidents Cup performance, Tom Kim will stick a peg in the ground. Serving as the two-time defending champion, Kim looks the join Steve Stricker, Tiger Woods and Stuart Appleby as tournament champ three years in a row since 2000.

Kim is joined in the field by his Presidents Cup teammate Taylor Pendrith, as well as a number of Las Vegas locals, including Kurt Kitayama, who acquitted himself nicely last week at the Black Desert Championship. Pendrith is just one winner from the 2024 regular season to play this week as Stephan Jaeger, Jhonattan Vegas, Davis Thompson, Austin Eckroat, Nick Taylor and Cameron Davis are also in the field and with eyes on raising their second trophies of the calendar year.

Rickie Fowler makes his second start of the FedEx Cup Fall after capturing only his third top-20 finish of the year his last time out. J.T. Poston, Keith Mitchell, Eric Cole and Harris English round out the notables that make up an appealing field at this year's Shriners Children's Open.
