The PGA Tour returns to central Connecticut this week for the 2024 Travelers Championship beginning on Thursday at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell. The course, which was established in 1928 as Middletown Golf Club, has hosted this PGA Tour event since 1984. However, Scheffler enters the Travelers Championship off his worst tournament of the year. At last week's U.S. Open, he finished 41st, 14 shots behind winner Bryson DeChambeau. "He almost missed the cut last week at Pinehurst, and he doesn't provide value at this number," Nejad told SportsLine.

"Aberg has been dialed-in with the ball-striking and, even though he can bomb it off the tee, he's shown an affinity for shorter tracks such as River Highlands," Nejad said.
