In Alabama, the longest losing streak in high school football history continued Friday as Columbia (Huntsville) fell in its final game of the season 24-14 to Hazel Green. The Eagles head into 2025 with 91 consecutive setbacks.
Columbia last won Oct. 16, 2015, beating Ardmore 34-16. The streak began the following week with a 38-22 loss to Johnson (Hunstville).
The Eagles trailed Hazel Green 18-14 halfway through the fourth quarter on Friday. But Columbia was forced to punt deep in its own territory. Two plays later, Cam Moore plunged in from three years out to put the Trojans up 24-14 with 6:19 to play.
