Keelon Russell tossed six touchdown passes — four in the first half — as No. 4 Duncanville (Texas) dominated No. 17 DeSoto (Texas) 42-20 Friday in a rivalry game with national implications.

In what has become the Lone Star State's most high-profile rivalry — the schools are separated by nine miles — the Panthers asserted their dominance early and forced a prolific DeSoto offense to spin its wheels until well into the second half.
