Rays starter Alex Cobb has a problem with his fingernail, the Tampa Bay Times reports Wednesday night. Cobb has a small cut between his nail and his finger and it started bleeding during his last start.
Cobb was scheduled to start Friday at Cleveland, but instead his start is up in the air. Alex Colome, just called up, will start Thursday at Miami with Matt Moore moving to Friday.
Cobb won his last time out and is 6-2 on the year with a 2.66 ERA and 62 Ks over 67 2/3 innings.
