The Athletics announced they have agreed to terms with newly-acquired first baseman Ike Davis and reliever Fernando Rodriguez on one-year deals, avoiding arbitration, according to the San Francisco Chronicle on Tuesday. According to CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman, Davis' deal is worth $3.8 million. Davis hit .233 with 11 home runs and 19 doubles in 2014.  Rodriguez allowed only one earned run over nine innings of work in 2014.
