Rays reliever Brandon Gomes resumed throwing Saturday after discomfort in his strained right lat caused him to miss a rehab start earlier last week. The Rays have yet to set a date for his rehab assignment.
"We wanted to let it slow down," Gomes said, per MLB.com. "Hopefully, that's the end of it and we can move the process along quicker than it was the last time."
