After opting out of his minor-league contract with the Dodgers this past week, reliever David Aardsma has signed a new minors deal with the Braves, according to MLB.com.
Aardsma hasn't pitched in a big-league game since 2013, but the Braves came into play on Friday with the highest bullpen ERA in the National League.
The veteran right-hander has a career 4.23 ERA over his eight-year tenure in the big leagues.
