Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel pitched well enough to win Wednesday against the Royals, but the bullpen couldn't hold onto his lead in a 6-4 loss.
Keuchel allowed just two runs in six innings of work for his second quality start in a row, and he left the game holding on to a 4-2 lead. He fell behind early on a second-inning solo home run, but limited the damage to just the two runs on six hits and a walk, while striking out five barters.
Keuchel is just 1-1 despite holding a 3.50 ERA after three starts. He will go for his second win in his next start, set for Monday in Seattle.
