With the Cleveland Indians having advanced to the World Series for the first time since 1997, the city is once again worked into a frenzy (what a year for Believeland, huh?). Among the laundry list of items to note would be the inclusion of legendary baseball movie pitcher Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn. He was portrayed by Charlie Sheen in the 1989 classic Major League.

There is apparently a social media movement to have Sheen throw out the first pitch of Game 1 of the World Series as Vaughn and Sheen is on board.

As a die-hard Major League fan since before I should have been old enough to watch it, I am heartily in favor of this. My only request? He's gotta the Wild Thing bullpen entrance from the final, climactic scene.

Let's cut through the crap, Vaughn, I only got one thing to say to you ...

I'm gonna have to go watch that movie in my hotel room tonight now, aren't I?
