Astros first baseman Chris Carter homered for the second time in three June games and for the third time in his last five games Monday against the Angels. Carter also extended his hitting streak to six games, batting .333 (6 for 18) with one double, three home runs and seven RBI.
Prior to hitting a home run May 30, Carter went 14 games without a home run.
