White Sox pitcher Chris Sale was not at his best on Friday, but still managed to collect his third consecutive win in a 9-6 victory over Cleveland.

Sale (3-0) surrendered a to-run double to Asdrubal Cabrera and a run-scoring single to Nick Swisher in the fifth inning. He was charged with three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings pitched. He tossed 105 pitches, 64 of which were strikes.

Sale has allowed just six runs over his first 20 1/3 innings pitched in three starts. He'll look for his fourth straight win on Thursday at home against Boston.
