The latest update from the D-Backs broadcast is that Young has a right shoulder contusion and he'll have an MRI Wednesday morning. So we'll know more then.
Young, 28, is hitting .410 with five homers, 13 RBI and eight runs scored so far this season for the D-Backs.
With Upton also out of the lineup, the D-Backs' current outfield configuration has Jason Kubel in right field, with Gerardo Parra in center and Willie Bloomquist in left. Bloomquist slid out from shortstop, where John McDonald then took over.
