Cubs left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada was activated from the disabled list. He was then subsequentley optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday, according to ESPN.com.
Wada had been sidelined with inflammation in his left deltoid muscle, and hasn't pitched with the Cubs since June 22.
He was 1-1 with a 3.73 ERA in seven starts before going down with the injury.
