Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel threw the ball well Thursday, but came out on the wrong side of a pitcher's duel in a 3-0 loss to the Yankees.
Keuchel tossed an eight-inning complete game in the start, and had trouble in just one inning, as he allowed three runs in the third. He was charged with three earned runs on seven hits overall, while striking out five batters and throwing 65 of 96 pitches for strikes in the loss.
Keuchel is now winless in his last four starts, despite tossing three quality starts in that time. He heads into his next start, set for Tuesday against the A's, with a 10-9 record and 3.12 ERA on the season.
