The Houston Chronicle reports that the Astros will shut down starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel for the remainder of this season. Keuchel made what turned out to be his final start on Saturday, holding the Mariners to one run over eight innings and picking up a win.
The lefty, who has the highest ground ball rate of all qualifying starters in the majors, finishes his third season with the Astros with a 12-9 record and 2.93 ERA.
