Nationals second baseman Danny Espinosa left Sunday's game against Atlanta in the fifth inning due to a sore right hand, the team announced. Espinosa was drilled by a pitch on the hand earlier in the game, and was replaced by Stephen Lombardozzi.
A day after hitting his first home run of the season, Espinosa finished with only one plate appearance before the early exit. He is hitting .175 on the season.
