Dee Gordon goes 0 for 5 in return to lineup Friday

Dodgers second baseman Dee Gordon returned to the lineup Friday, going 0 for 5 with a walk and an RBI in his team's 10-9 loss to the Cardinals in Game 1 of the National League Division Series.

Gordon left the penultimate game of the regular season with hip irritation and did not play in the season finale. His ninth-inning RBI groundout reduced his team's deficit to one run, but the Dodgers couldn't scrape together the game-tying run before running out of outs. Gordon hit .289/.326/.378 with two home runs, 34 RBI and a major-league-leading 64 stolen bases in 609 at-bats.
