The Dodgers activated relief pitcher Matt Guerrier from the 60-day disabled list Thursday, optioning relief pitcher Josh Wall to Triple-A to clear a spot on the 25-man roster.
Guerrier has pitched in just seven games this season, allowing two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings. He allowed two earned runs in five innings during a five-appearance rehab assignment, striking out five and walking none.
Wall allowed three runs over 1 1/3 innings in two appearances with the big-league club.
The team is looking for a little stability in the bullpen with closer Kenley Jansen out indefinitely with a heart condition.
The Dodgers have also transferred shortstop Dee Gordon to the 60-day disabled list Thursday. The move leaves Gordon ineligible to be activated until Sept. 3.
