Blue Jays starting pitcher Esmil Rogers tossed one of his best starts of the season Saturday against the Red Sox, but he had to settle for a no-decision in a 6-2 win.

Rogers shut out the Red Sox over six innings of work, but the Blue Jays' bullpen could not make the a 2-0 lead stand up, allowing the Red Sox to tie as soon as Rogers left. The Blue Jays would go on to win the game with rallies in the eighth and ninth innings, but Rogers took a no-decision.

Rogers struck out six batters and walked just one. He allowed six hits, and threw 64 of his 99 pitches for strikes, while lowering his ERA to 3.12.

Rogers has started five games in a row for the Blue Jays, posting a 2.43 ERA and 2-1 record in that span. He is set to make his next start Thursday against the Tigers.
