- Travis Hafner will be activated from the disabled list Wednesday, Mike Camino of WTAM Newsradio reported. He last played May 23rd.
- Chris Sale may have his Sunday start skipped as a way to keep him fresh for the second half of the season, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports. Sale's 2.27 ERA is behind just Jered Weaver (2.13) but want to be cautious with Sale, who set a career high in innings pitched last year (all levels) with 71.0. He already has 95.1 this season.
- Dexter Fowler is out for a second straight night due to a lat issue, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reported.
- Juan Uribe has been scratched from the Dodgers' lineup, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reported. He was initially back in the lineup despite rolling an ankle Tuesday night, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, but the injury will keep him out another game.
