White Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham was forced out of Tuesday's game against the Nationals with a possible oblique injury.

Beckham appeared to have suffered the injury while striking out swinging in his first at-bat in the second inning. He finished 0 for 1 and is batting .316/.333/.316 this season.

The White Sox have yet to provide details on Beckham's injury.
