White Sox second baseman Gordon Beckham made a late-game appearance Friday night against the Twins.

Beckham, who left Thursday's game with a strained right quad, entered the game in the eighth inning for an injured Conor Gillaspie. He lined a single in his only at-bat. He is hitting .313 in 240 at-bats.
