Indians pitcher Scott Atchison was pleased enough with his rehab assignment on Wednesday that he said he's ready to rejoin the team's bullpen, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Atchison didn't allow a run during his time in the eighth inning during a rehab assignment in Akron.
Atchison has been on the disabled list due to an ankle injury.
"I think I'm ready to go," Atchison said. "I don't know the exact date yet. I don't know when they're going to make the final decision. But it was one outing and I'm ready.
"We'll just see what they have to say about it and when they want to do it."
