There's a good chance Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain will return this season, according to WFAN's Sweeny Murti.
Chamberlain -- who has not thrown a pitch in the majors since June 5, 2011 -- threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Monday. He is scheduled to pitch in a simulated game later this week.
After undergoing Tommy John surgery last summer, Chamberlain suffered a gruesome ankle injury during spring training.
Chamberlain could return as early as August.
