Reds first baseman Joey Votto began his minor-league rehab assignment Sunday with Triple-A Louisville.
Votto played the field and singled in the seventh inning. He was lifted for a pinch runner in the seventh, ending his first game back since landing on the disabled list with a knee injury. He finished 1 for 3 with a strikeout.
