Indians closer John Axford recorded the final out of his team's 8-6 win over the Padres Tuesday to earn his third save of the season.
Axford was summoned after three runs scored in the ninth inning, and he was able to get the game's final batter on a fly out to center field with a man on. Axford owns a 2.70 ERA and 4:4 K:BB ratio in 3 1/3 innings.
